COPD Awareness Month! Sign up for Operation 435 to receive updates
from Joe LaMountain and be part of the movement. Call the Information
Line for details.
- We’re going for the gold!
On COPD Awareness Day (November 18th) we will be offering
free spirometry testing at the Minneapolis Mall of America to break
the world record of most spirometries done in one day! Check out website
calendar or call the Information Line for details.
- Have questions about nutrition,
exercise, and COPD management? Maybe the COPD Big Fat Reference Guide®
has the answers. Call the Information Line for more details on the BFRG
and other new publications from the COPDF.
- The COPDF is co-sponsoring
the COPD Educator Course series for RTs with the American Association
for Respiratory care. Next event: October 1st and 2nd
in Denver, CO. More information is available at www.aarc.org/go/co.
- Don’t forget about the
COPDF this fall! You can help in many ways. You can donate your time,
efforts, or money and be a great help to your fellow COPDers in
the community. It’s up to each of us to help.
